Designer
After an apprenticeship at Balenciaga in Spain and Lanvin in Paris, Dominican Oscar de la Renta launched his own eponymous line in 1965. Refinement, seems to distinguish won numerous awards, including one for Lifetime Achievement in 1990. In 1998, he successfully launched a range of underwear and the time did not show signs of abating with the collections of glasses, perfumes, decorations, bags and shoes.
