Class Rings: Why I Will Wait

I opened an e-mail yesterday from the University Alumni Association of Advertising Class rings this will go on sale next week. ... Class Rings? It is for candidates who are not budding juniors like me. Right?

Texas Exes site describes this tradition simply saying, "This ring is a recognizable symbol of academic success and a celebration of the transition to a new stage of life ... [It] is a tangible reminder of student performance and the memories. "Those words took me by surprise and made me anxious transition, news and recall memories. For now, I'd be away as possible from the above, thanks.

Let's just opposite, the change is not easy. As each new semester rolls around, it takes most of us have a good week or two to adapt to our new schedules. 8:00 Start of classes we petrify every morning, but we all know it gets easier as the weeks roll. With the busy schedule that most college students to take those days, we must work hard to balance a "full plate" of classes, a job, an internship and two off-campus and on organizations. It n is not surprising that most college students were asked to prioritize these obligations on a little thing called sleep.

It's not that we ever need to change, but simply did not push. Why celebrate the memory of something that is not over yet? I still have a little over a year remaining time to savor life of a student. Balfour can not take this from us! So to make it easier for ourselves (not that beautiful?), I just want to keep things as they are, at least for now.

Why? Since this is the ideal stage of life, one that we all remember forever. It 'too early to come to this class ring attached to my finger to remind me of my successes and memories of college. Let's bond together and stop worrying about preserving the past and concentrate on enjoying the moment. Carpe Diem!

Here is a image of class rings. What's about it? Is it very beautiful? I believe you would say "yes".

Class rings may not be known to all, but I went to twelve different elementary and secondary schools. That's right, twelve. My parents moved a lot, especially between the Capital District and the North Country. That, and there were times where my grandmother lives in Massachusetts a couple of semesters, out of a very hostile situation at home.

In 1980, I lived with my aunt and uncle (and aunt of three children) in a small two-family house on O'Connell Street. I had moved back to Massachusetts, and because my stepfather always enjoyed these Schlitz boxes and still had a good If alcohol fuel Vietnam flashbacks, I could not live there. So I lived with my aunt and uncle. Not much of an improvement, it was very toxic.

In fact, about December 1978 to December 1979, I did not go to school. Not because I do not want to - there were some legal problems. As - then, open to all public schools in Albany City School District, you had to live with a parent - who was also living in the Albany City School District boundaries.
